Welcome !!

Today is my very first Blog Frenzy ever. I get to share a very fun Die Template Set, Spellbinders S4-276 Sweet Treats!

I have two projects to share today, starting with my Ice Cream Social Invitation.

Many ideas came to mind when I first saw these adorable die templates. I really could do so much with all of these delicious dies! Of all four in the set, the Ice Cream Cone is my favorite.

These are the supplies for my 5x7” card:

Spellbinders: The Wizard Die Cut & Embossing System
Spellbinders Dies Templates S4-276 Sweet Treats; S4-235 Fancy Tags; S5-016 Polka Dot Frame
The Paper Company: 5x7” Pink, 4 ½ x 6 ½” Black, 5 ½ x 8 ½” White Cardstock
Creative Impressions: Polka Dot Ribbon
Taylored Expressions: Pink Rhinestone Bling
Copic Sketch Markers: E33, E15, E77, RV04, RV09, RV23

First I cut/embossed one Ice Cream Cone die cut from white paper, this will be the pink cone.

to get a mirror image for the second cone, so I cut only from white paper. Remove the die cut from the die and place it on the flat side of the die, and secure with low tack tape.

Emboss the die cut using the upside down die template, and stencil through the holes in the die from the front. Now I have mirror image die cuts!

I embellished my cones using my Copic Airbrush System and Copic Sketch Markers. I masked off areas I did not want airbrushed with masking tape.

Here I started with the waffle cone part. I almost always start with darker colors first. I chose E15 for the shadows of the waffle.

Keep the die cut paper in the die and move the masking tape to reveal the next section to color. I covered the parts I don’t want colored.

Using the darker of the pinks #RV04.

This is the result! Looks yummy, doesn’t it?.

Because I used the darker of the colors first I can now use my lighter colors for the back ground without degrading the colors too much.

Mask off as necessary, using tape or scrap paper. I started with E33

The same for the top only, #RV02, this is how it should look at this stage.

To finish it off I used a Milky Way Galaxy Marker to add some highlights.

I used the Frameabilities® S5-016 Polka Dot Frame to frame out the party details.
I cut/embossed white cardstock, then turned die template over. I used the die template as a stencil and airbrushed RV04 to color the dots. I positioned the frame on black cardstock. With the Milky Way marker I hand wrote the invitation information. I added a S4-235 Fancy Tag and embellished with a little rhinestone bling and ribbon.

A tradition started with one’s anticipation
To be carried on to the next generation
This Little Green Dress Of Velvet and lace
Holds apart of our lives that can never be replaced

As we pass forward what is now our legacy and tradition
To our Daughter’s, Sister’s, Aunties, Cousin’s,
Mother’s and Grandmother’s
Our hope is that this little dress touches your life as it has ours
And let it create a bond between generations
Remembering that it is now your legacy to carry
Our Little Green Dress Of Velvet And Lace
To inspire the next generation

Hello!! I wanted to take a moment and thank you everyone for all of the wonderful comments. It truly means a lot. I try to post comments any time I visit other Blogs. I know how it inspires me to keep going. I can only imagine how it feels to have more followers. I believe it inspires everyone to keep paper crafting alive. Not to mention all of the great designers can post any new methods and great ideas. Which reminds me to give Beth from Spellbinders a shout out for all of her hard work on Spellbinders Blog and getting this little designers art work up in the gallery each month. If Santa had an elf I am sure Beth would be her name ;) Thank you for all your help in advance with my blog.

Here is one of the peaces I have in the gallery right now…

OK, So I have a little Impressabilies obsession with this altered peace. These little plates of metal are so cool. I wish I had one of each. Believe it or not I don’t. I have a list just like everyone else out there.

With Winter CHA and new releases coming out. I am sure that list will get bigger.
Here is my supply list :
Spellbinders Dies
S5-019 LABELS EIGHT
S4-233 LABELS NINE
S-189 LABELS THREE
I12-1006 IMPRESSABILITES FLORAL & STONE
I12-1009 IMPRESSABILITES FLOURISH

Frames are actually from Michael’s Craft Store. It was a find I paid One dollar folks. It totally inspired me when I saw it. I used my Impressablities on silver craft foil then embellished with Copic Markers.
Have an obsession with those too

Here are some cross promo products that I used :
THE CHOCOLATE BOX CORE DINATIONS
G28-YR23-FY62-R39-YR14 COPIC
EZ SQUARES SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES
PAPER TACKS CREATIVE IMPRESSIONS

I wish I knew how to do a link because they have some pretty net stuff.
You can use Google which is another obsession.
Few other things I picked up on the fly some else.

CSS25894-REGAL FLORI SH STAMPERS ANONYMOUS

I can’t remember Where I picked up the other stamps from. I just really like the sayings

CREATIVITY IS ALLOWING YOURSELF TO MAKE MISTAKES ART IS KNOWING WHICH ONES TO KEEP.

LIFE IS NOT MEASURED BY THE NUMBER OF BREATHS WE TAKE BUT BY THE MOMENTS THAT TAKE OUR BREATH AWAY.

YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU'RE MAKING A MEMORY.

Hello all !! Spellbinders is at it again. They are looking for the ultimate Designers. I had the opportunity to try out for this years team!! And it was the best experience. I got to meet all of my favorite designers with exception of very few. I love all the new products I got to use (it still makes me shiver:) However I will not be trying out this year. Because I am Stacey's little sister. I am not eligible:( But no worries I can work on my blog :) and hang more with my kids. And it gives all you designers a
chance to get your recognition !!! So get your fire burning and try out you will not regret it :)

Yes yet another photo of my girls. I can be a little cheesy when it comes to getting there pictures taken:) but I am there MOM and it is my right to do so:) There is a lot going on in these layouts. I felt there needed to be a lot going on . I wanted to show case three different posses on one layout.

List Of Supplies
S4- 132 Classic Rectangles
S4-233 Labels Nine
S4-234 Ribbon Trio Two
S4-204 Fleur De Lis Pendants
S3-004 Symbology One
Craft foil from Spellbinders
Paper White & Red from The Paper Company
Base Paper luxury pack DMCM
Rhinestones from taylored expressions
Wavy Stamp of choice mine was form Tim Holts collection

A lot of the thing in these two layouts should be formal er
Head band was an altered project for Spellbinders
Then there is the anchor that I hand drawn because I could not find one in a stamp

For the journal I chose to make up poems. Yes very cheesy I know :)
Here they are
Keeley is my ray of light,
Her spirit just shines so bright,

With the love I have in my hart
I know we will never part,

When I first looked into those eyes of mine,
I knew our souls were intertwined,

You are My Baby,
My Hart, My Soul,
My Light
~Your Mummy~

Bree is my strength
She keeps me together
Her spirit breaths life into everything around her
The tender way she approaches life shines
Like no other precious moments
Her intense interests keep her focused on the task at hand
The will to make everything work for her reminds of me
As she grows though the years I can only hope
That she remains strong for there is nothing wrong
With bring a stable anchor
In this vast blue sea
~ Your mummy ~

Feeling the chill in OHIO

Life has a way of getting in the way of my blogging :) I thought I would share another project that I did for Summer CHA . The Paper Company has some really great shimmer Paper. The new snow flakes from Spellbinders just topped this layout . Hope you enjoy the eye candy :)
I am not big on the layouts But I do like the fact that I am getting a lot of my albums done .
I tend to dwell on a layout for hours . Did I do enough or not enough that is always going through my brain . The picture says a thousand words by it's self.

Well I have lots of work to do to get caught up so have a great evening everyone :)
